To Run an Asset Report

(Accountant Plus and Financial Controller users only)

1.   From the Fixed Assets window, select the assets required and click Reports.

The Fixed Asset Reports window appears.

2.   Select the report you require from the list of available layouts.

3.   Indicate the report output you require by selecting the Printer, Preview or File output option button.

4.   To generate the report selected, click Run.

5.   To exit, click Close.

Depending on which report you selected, the Additional Criteria window may appear. This includes only those criteria that are appropriate to the selected report selected. From here you can select to limit the number of transactions you preview. If you select a value in the space provided, only the number of transactions specified will be displayed. If you leave the box display as the default value 0, all of the transactions will be displayed.

If you selected to print the report, the Windows Print window appears. Use this to select which pages to print and change your printer settings if required.

If you selected to preview the report, the Preview window appears showing the report. If you are satisfied with the report, you can send it directly to the printer by clicking Print.

If you selected to print the report to a file, the File Save As window appears. Select a directory in which to store the file and enter the filename in the File Name box. You can also select the type of file you wish to create. Using the æSave File as TypeÆ drop-down list box, select either Sage Line 50 Report Data format (.SRD), Text file format (.TXT) or Comma Separated Value (CSV).
